Lindsey Thornburg was raised in Aspen, Colorado and went on to study philosophy in Santa Barbara. While attending design school in Los Angeles, she created her first dress collection. In 2006, she began designing her eponymous collection, deriving inspiration from her vast collection of Pendleton blankets. Lindsey released her full ready-to-wear collection for Fall/Winter 2010. She continues to add a selection of unique pieces to her collection seasonally. In addition, the curation of vibrant imagery each season gives life and visual content to the garments.
