Derived from the Ukrainian word for “House” Khata offers a uniquely curated collection of works by Ukrainian artists and a vintage shopping experience like no other. This new boutique is the brainchild of two Ukrainian women with ten years of fashion experience determined to bring a taste of their heritage and fashion expertise to the creative and vibrant Lower East Side.“Khata” features paintings from promising young artists, exquisite glass pieces, handcrafted ceramics and vintage gems, carefully selected by Olha Hitko. In addition, visitors can explore an array of artisanal candles designed to create a warm and inviting atmosphere.
