UPDATE: Goldman Closing Sale of Sunshine Cinema on Wednesday May 17. Property Already Flipped to Overseas Buyers for a Huge Profit (allegedly)

New information has come in on the Sunshine Cinema. The closing is taking place on May 17th and the buyer has already “flipped” the property for millions of dollars in profit. It may have even been flipped twice apparently. Employees at the theater are wondering if they will be forced out in January, about the time the current lease ends, and who the new landlord will end up being. Calls were placed to Exclusive Broker Tzipporah Wexler of Grand Success Realty but she could not be reached for comment.
