Mother Duck – CLOSED
167 Orchard Street
New York, NY 10002

Mother Duck, is the latest project by Jonathan Morr. Mother Duck is an Asian inspired fast casual restaurant focusing primarily on noodles and rice bowls, as well as a variety of appetizers to share. Six months in the making and with five chefs involved, an exciting, creative and innovative menu has been created. While the dishes have no pretense to authenticity, the ethnic antecedents of the menu are clear, taking its cues from traditional noodle shops. It’s adapted towards millennials and modern New Yorkers wanting good, healthy food, served quickly. Our noodles are gluten free, and we are focused on an array of vegetarian and vegan friendly dishes. Think fresh, herbs and green, that’s us! In a casual setting, Mother Duck is geared towards a local young crowd from the neighborhood, but will also appeal to the cultural mainstream of the New Yorkers and foodies looking for a good time and good food at a reasonable price. Morr has been a leading force in the NY culinary scene for the past 25 years and is the propitiator of Bondst, a Japanese restaurant in Noho and the previous noodle shop Republic.
