This is the first establishment by Benjamin Demarchelier who has been working in the restaurant business 17 years (since the age of 12). In the past he has worked at are Gordon Ramsey, Monkey Bar, Brasserie Cognac and Demarchelier Restaurant (the latter is owned by his father, Eric). Although he has had fine dining experience L’oubli is much more relaxed and casual than his background would suggest. Benjamin is almost always at L’oubli either mixing behind the bar or rubbing shoulders with guests and happy to discuss food and drink at any time. Established in 2010.
