Mia Vesper is Calling it Quits on Orchard Street

The signage in the widow says it all. “Space for Lease.” Mia Vesper is looking to leave her Flagship retail location on Orchard Street behind. We contacted the business and got this reply from a Customer Care Specialist named Katie, “Thanks for reaching out! We plan to leave but don’t have an exact date yet. We are moving back online as we shutter our RTW clothing label to focus on Upcycled tapestry, couture and jewelry :)”

In the meantime, 5-year veteran Compass agent Yossi Capland has the listing to find a new tenant for the location. He tells us that the remaining 2 years on the lease can be assigned to the next tenant. Current asking price: $10,000/month for the 850 sq ft space. A longer lease can be worked out with landlord the Malachite Group LTD who is a large national property owner with properties in over 20 states. This is a hot location on the Lower East Side so the space should rent fairly quickly.
