Harkawik was founded by curator and artist Peter Harkawik. Harkawik organized his first show, an institutional solo presentation in 2009, followed by a series of large survey exhibitions at guest venues throughout the 2010’s. Harkawik began regular programming in his first permanent location in Los Angeles in 2018, followed by an expansion to Orchard Street in 2020. The gallery represents 14 artists and is a proud member of NADA and Gallery Platform Los Angeles.
