Established in 2015, GR Gallery is a contemporary art gallery located on the historical Bowery. It focuses its activity on exhibiting and promoting emerging and mid-career artists that challenge themselves with the most varied media, maintaining a dynamic attitude towards chromatic vibration, and explore the boundaries of figuration. GR gallery is partner with Studio d’Arte GR, the ‘mother’ gallery founded in Venice in 1979 that has centered its operation on the re-discovery and representation of the postwar avant-gardes of Latin matrix, especially “Informale”, “Optical” and “Kinetic” Art. In addition to its business activity, Studio d’Arte GR has always engaged in dynamic, purely cultural endeavors at regular intervals, organizing exhibitions and artistic reviews in prestigious museums such as GNAM in Rome, the Hermitage in St. Petersburg, MMOMA in Moscow, MACBA and Museo di Bellas Artes in Buenos Aires, and Palazzo Ducale in Venice. The staff of Studio d’Arte GR pride themselves on having organized and curated almost 300 public exhibitions.
