Moxy Lower East Side is hosting its first-ever “Block Party” on Saturday, October 7 from 3-8pm. Taking place across its expansive lobby and entrance patio, the event will feature food and beverage pop-ups, entertainment, and experiences from city-wide staples and small neighborhood businesses.

Open to the public, the Block Party will offer live DJ performances curated by Daily Paper and food and drink options by popular neighborhood establishments, such as Gotham Burger Social Club, known for its viral smash burger, and the Museum of Ice Cream, which will be on-site to offer complimentary ice-cream and popsicles. Additionally, complimentary and discounted items will be available from vendors, including the family-owned and operated candy store Economy Candy; and Italian-inspired bites from Mille Nonne. A selection of coffee treats will be offered by Coffee Uplifts People (CUP), in addition to the hotel’s own all-day lobby bar The Fix serving hand-crafted cocktails, wine, and beer. Moxy Lower East Side’s sultry piano lounge, Silver Lining Lounge, will open early for guests to access for bar service alongside live performances from the venue’s house band, Greko.

Additional experiences include free sunscreen from Vacation inc., and exclusive shopping opportunities from vintage outposts Futurepastnyc, Superette Vintage, and Spring Street Vintage. Non-profit organization The Pink Agenda, which raises awareness for breast cancer, will also be on site educating, collecting donations for the cure, and offering gifts for your donation.
